W3-O’s creative execution for the product launch campaign for the Canon EOS R8 mirrorless camera makes another fine exemplar of the company’s ethos: when W3-O plays, it doesn’t hold back.

The team went ALL-OUT playful for this campaign, especially after noting the younger target audience which the camera was positioned for. Besides the PUN+EMOJI infusion of the camera model number (R8) into the campaign tagline, the team also made sure to insert youthful graphical elements and emojis as well as an original rap song accompaniment. This approach culminated in the youthful, genzenial vibes which became critical to its product positioning and the campaign’s mission success.
